Quintuple your karma by adopting an older black cat!  Black cats have the hardest time getting adopted.  People are still superstitious!  And wonderful older kitties have a tough time too.  The universe smiles on people who adopt animals, especially older black cats!

Shasta is a declawed 9 yr old spayed female Persian mix.  We think Persian because she's got that super soft long fur.  She is incredibly sweet and loving with people.  She loves to "knead"  on your belly if you say, " Make some doughnuts, girl!" and she also likes treats for all her hard "work".  Her favorite treat is half of a malted milk whopper.  They have never made her sick, and she absolutely loves them.  She loves to playfully bite feet and lay next to you in bed.  Shasta also loves to be brushed and pampered.  She prefers to keep to herself and her people rather than play with other cats.  She doesn't mind other cats, but prefers to stay relaxed and have fun with people.

Shasta has been through a lot this past month, her human dad was unfortunately killed by a drunk driver and now she is looking for someone who can give her a loving home.  She is spayed, declawed and litterbox trained.
