Tortoiseshell / Mixed (short coat) : : Female : : Young : : Medium
Phyllis is a super sweet kitten that loves to be held. She'll put her paws on your chest to be picked up. She'll ride around on your shoulders. Sometimes she'll put her paws around your neck when you try to put her down. Phyllis is a very lucky little girl. One of our volunteers found her under some bushes after being hit by a car. She had a compound fracture of her back leg. If our volunteer hadn't been feeding feral cats at that time and heard her god only knows what may have happened to her. Because of her broken leg, Phyllis was confined to a cage for 4 weeks. Volunteers would get her out and hold her so she's very used to being held. She is a favorite of most of the volunteers. She loves to play and gets along with most of the other cats. Sometimes she pulls out her tortietude with the other kitties. She would do well as an only cat or with a male kitty friend - though it will take some time and proper introductions. If you're looking for two kitties, Phyllis gets along great with Elliott. She has not been exposed to dogs, but with proper introduction to a cat-friendly dog they may become besties. Phyllis' adoption fee is $55.00 which includes up-to-date shots, FeLV/FIV test (she's negative) and her spay which is already done. She is litterbox trained.
