Baxter is such a great little guy! He's looks to be a full blooded dachshund. He's so handsome! Love his brown eyebrows and shiny coat! We don't think Baxter has met an animal or person he doesn't like. He gets along well with older kittens and other dogs, although he likes to chase the outdoor cats when given the chance. Baxter is a total lap dog. He'll sit in your lap for hours. He's very well behaved in public. No growling or barking, walks well on the leash. Baxter was found wandering the highway. No one ever came forward to claim this wonderful boy.
He's kennel and house-trained. The vet thinks Baxter is between 2 - 3 years old. He is heartworm negative, fully vaccinated, and neutered. His adoption fee is $150, which includes the remainder of his six-month supply of Triflexis for flea, heartworm, and parasite control.
